Ferrari Exotic Cars

Ferrari is an Italian car manufacturer that has been making some of the world’s most exotic cars since 1947. Its cars have been featured in movies and in Formula One racing and you can get one of the many different kinds of Ferrari exotic cars too. However, it can be expensive to get one of these Ferrari exotic cars.

One of the most common features of Ferrari exotic cars is that of their highly powerful engines. Most Ferrari exotic cars feature engines with twelve cylinders. These are the most powerful engines in the world in that they can help to get the car to accelerate faster and to get to higher top speeds. A 2007 599 GTB Fiorano, for instance, features a twelve cylinder engine with six liters and a 5999c engine displacement.

The transmission used in most Ferrari exotic cars is a manual transmission. A typical Ferrari will have a six speed manual transmission. A sequential manual gearbox can be used in some Ferrari exotic cars too. The gears in this gearbox are selected in order, meaning that the driver will not be able to skip from one gear to another. It makes the transmission easier to use, and the use of the clutch with foot or hand control will be reduced. This is especially helpful for when you get past the first gear.

The two-seat Gran Turismo series of Ferrari exotic cars are the most popular of all Ferrari exotic cars. The 599 GTB Fiorano is the most commonly used Ferrari on today’s market, but past models like the 575M Maranello and Daytona are also great examples. Gran Turismo in Italian means Grand Touring. This type of car can handle long driving distances and can take in high power, much like the touring cars that Ferrari and other car manufacturers make.

2+2 front engine cars are also among the Ferrari exotic cars. The 612 Scaglietti is among the most popular Ferrari exotic cars with the 2+2 front engine design. This system works in that two people will be able to sit in the front of the car and that two more can sit in the rear. The seats in the back are known to be especially useful for insurance purposes in that insurance premiums can be reduced with these seats.

The price of the Ferrari that you are looking at is the last of the important parts of Ferrari exotic cars to consider. A 2006 612 Scaglietti, for instance, will cost about $250,000. Also, a 2006 F430 Coupe costs about $168,000. Used Ferrari models will be less expensive, of course, but it’s important to consider the optional features that may be included in the Ferrari that you are looking at. If you can afford a Ferrari you will be able to experience one of the most exotic cars for yourself.
